Merge and extract PDF pages with a clear page map

Use page thumbnails and a small test output before assembling a large document.

Map source pages to the final document

Filenames do not always sort in the intended order: chapter10 can appear before chapter2 in a lexical list. Load your files, check their page counts and arrange the required sequence deliberately. Page numbers printed inside a document can differ from its physical page positions, especially when there is a cover or introduction. Use the tool’s page positions when selecting pages.

Check a five-page example

Suppose the first file has a cover and two content pages, and the second contains two appendices. The expected merge has five physical pages. If you want only the first content page and the last appendix, select physical positions 2 and 5 from the merged document. Open the download and verify both pages before applying the same process to a larger set.

A: cover, content 1, content 2
B: appendix 1, appendix 2
Merged positions: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
Extract: 2, 5

Review document features after export

Page operations are not a promise to preserve every interactive feature, signature, bookmark or form behavior. A digitally signed original can lose signature validity when modified. Keep the original and inspect links, annotations and forms in your usual PDF viewer. Browser memory limits vary by device, so try fewer files or smaller batches when a large job fails. The application does not upload your PDF to a conversion server.
