A practical guide to organizing PDFs
1. Add files
Add PDFs and JPG, PNG or WebP images together. Limits are 20 files, 50 MB per file, 100 MB total input and 200 pages per workspace. Images fit proportionally on portrait or landscape A4 pages. Resize images of 40 megapixels or more before importing.
2. Select by current position
Page ranges refer to the current workspace order, not original file numbering. Enter ranges such as 1-3, 5, 8-10. Odd, even and all-page selection are available. Each thumbnail identifies its source file and original page number.
3. Organize and undo
Drag pages or use arrow buttons to move them. Rotate, duplicate, remove or move a selection to the start/end. A blank page is inserted after the last selected page, or at the end with no selection. Undo retains up to 30 recent steps in the current tab.
4. PDF with original text
Standard PDF export copies pages, retaining their text and vector graphics where supported. Export all pages or just the selection. Optional page numbers follow output order and appear near the bottom; review for overlap with existing content.
5. Images and compact PDFs
Compact PDF converts pages to JPEG, removing text selection/search, links and accessibility structure. It runs only after you confirm this tradeoff. Image-heavy files may shrink, but not every file becomes smaller. Rendered pages are capped at 8 megapixels and 8192 pixels on the longest edge, so unusually large pages may use a lower effective DPI.
6. Split and extract
Individual-page PDFs and PNG/JPG images are saved in a numbered ZIP. TXT extracts only text already present in the PDF; paragraph and column reading order may differ from the visible layout. Scanned-image text recognition (OCR) is not provided.
